Tips for tummy tuck post op and some must haves

Once you are done with your post op plastic surgery, you need to be a bit careful. While your dr. may tell you to go back to your routine, you still need to take care of yourself as your stitches might be new and they may tear further.

As you are done with your post op plastic surgery, here are a few things that you must keep handy with you.

1.First and foremost, renting a medical electric recliner will help you during the first two weeks post tummy tuck. The recliner will keep you comfortable and at times, such recliners are more comfortable than a bed. You can sit on it and also lie down without moving yourself. For many people using a bed is difficult, and in such cases, recliners help a lot.

2.Go for some stool softeners. As you have been on the medicines, there are chances of severe constipation and as you have recovered from a surgery, you might not find comfortable sitting on the toilet seat for long. So, ask your dr. to give you some stool softeners.

3.There are a few more things that will help you recover faster. Some of the things are baby powder and lotion to apply on your stitches to keep your skin hydrated, back scratcher so that you do not have to pressurize your muscles, PJ gown that buttons down front as it will keep your comfortable all the time, neck pillow in case you want to stay upright and keep your neck at rest.
